Prof. Dr. Fernando Muñoz is head of the Neurosurgery Services at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and Hospital del Mar in Barcelona, Spain. He is Spanish delegate at the European Skull Base Society.

He is specialized in: Endoscopic skull base surgery (including pituitary tumors), minimally invasive spine surgery (herniated idsc, spinal stenosis and vestibular schwannoma surgery.

Prof. Dr. Luis Lassaletta is Head of Otology, Auditory Implants, and Skull Base Surgery at the Department of Otolaryngology, La Paz University Hospital in Madrid, Spain.

He is a Professor of Otolaryngology at the Department of Surgery at the Autonomous University of Madrid and is accredited as a Full

Professor.

What to expect from this webinar?

The title of the November 2026 webinar is: Facial Nerve Management in Skull Base Tumors.

Advances in the management of facial nerve–related pathology have progressively shifted surgical strategies toward preservation of facial nerve integrity and function whenever possible. Nevertheless, complex facial nerve and skull base pathology may require different reconstructive approaches depending on the anatomical site, extent of nerve involvement, and individual characteristics of the patient.
